NO. 21: Ready-To-Wear SS25 – HBRPEDIA

With plenty of sparkle and nostalgic flare, No. 21 offered a delicious buffet of clashing patterns, swollen coats and kitten heels for SS25. Looking like something straight out of the ‘60s, or perhaps even 2003 in the best, nostalgic runway kind of way, models’ hair was teased into beehive up-dos, and skinny scarves were wrapped around necks.

Inspired by the creative spirit of Karlheinz Weinberger’s photos of groupies, and their totally unique way of dressing, creative director Alessandro Dell’Acqua dressed his girls in sheer cargo shirts and skimpy slips, strapless babydoll dresses and mod day coats. But there was a disco edge, dipped in sequins too. Sporting gold or silver-painted pencil skirts with horizontally striped tees, and bold, bare-back sequin dresses, sometimes beneath bulbous yellow raincoats, looks took a page from the book of the best staples of the last few decades. It was the kind of stuff you’d want to wear when dancing the night away!
